Our document library feature allows you to easily post your files to our server and link your recipients right to them. Unlike attachments, it's a safer and more effective way to share files with your subscribers. Because of the increased email size and potential for viruses, servers are more likely to block emails with attachments, and that's why they're not allowed in Emma.
Your library can store PDFs, documents from Word (.doc not .docx) and Pages, Excel spreadsheets (.xls not .xlsx), PowerPoint and Keynote presentations, Flash movies, Quicktime videos, MPEGs, WAVs, zipped files, .ics files, .vdf files and more.
From your campaigns page, click on the Documents icon in the top right corner of the screen. Your document library will open in a message window.
Browse to find the file on your computer or network, and upload it. Your file will appear in the library's menu, with an icon to match the file type for easy reference. Your library now comes with 50MB of storage space. If you reach capacity, be sure to delete old files to make room for new ones. (If you remove a file, and a recipient tries to click on a link to that document in an old email, they'll see a message letting them know that the file is no longer available.)
Adding video to your email campaigns. Videos are a great way to engage your readers, but there's definitely a right way and a not-so-right way to include them in your emails. Here are a few considerations from the Ask Emma series.
